Study visit in Östergötland

Between 11-15th of June B2N partners from Sweden hosted a study visit in Östergötland. Participants enjoyed the unique heritage and the richness of nature reserves and eco parks and also an imaginative use of nature to build an attractive tourist location that was an example of possibilities of a new trend that is eco tourism.

Study visit in Slovenia

Another study visit within the framework of the B2N Project took place between the 7th and 11th of May 2012. The main aim of the tour was to identify good practices regarding sustainable development of tourism in accordance with natural environment.
The hosts of the visit were representatives of Local Development Centre Pivka in Slovenia.

The Interregional Cooperation Programme INTERREG IVC, financed by the European Union’s Regional Development Fund, helps Regions of Europe work together to share experience and good practice in the areas of innovation, the knowledge economy, the environment and risk prevention. EUR 302 million is available for project funding but, more than that, a wealth of knowledge and potential solutions are also on hand for regional policy-makers.
